Is Longshots down?

The terms say the game is provided as it is, and that it may be down sometimes. On 6 November 2026, longshots.app/status and /health both returned 404. There is no public status board for me to read. I cannot see the game’s servers, so this page will not show an uptime badge.

Try this in order

1. Reload the tab. A service worker keeps a copy of the page, so an old build can look like a broken one.
2. Check the clock. The set changes at midnight UK. Before that, yesterday’s questions are the current set.
3. If a shot fails with “Signal lost. Check your connection and shoot again.”, retry the connection. That string is the submit error.
4. If sign-in or saving fails, a blocker may be stopping auth.longshots.app. The privacy page names that host. Trying an exception is reasonable. It is not a confirmed cause.
5. Clear site data only if the page is still blank. Chrome’s “cookies and other site data” also clears local storage. If you are not signed in, that can remove the local player id, rounds and streak.
6. For sign-in, Google was added on 6 November 2026. Email codes can sit in spam or Promotions for a few minutes.

Gilmore asked players to report valid answers that the list still rejects, from the team sheet. That is an answer-list gap, not an outage. The contact for the game is [email protected].
